What are Deciduous Trees
We often read that some trees are ‘semi deciduous’ and this simply refers to the climate. In warmer climates some deciduous trees will not lose all of their foliage. And in very warm winters some tree will keep their foliage through the winter where normally they would lose it.
Deciduous trees are those that lose or drop their leaves during colder months as a means of avoiding the cold weather.
