This is a hybrid tea rose, renowned for its long-lasting blooms and sturdy growth habit. The plant itself typically reaches a height of 1m (3ft) with a similar spread.

How to Grow Camp David Rose – General Care

To ensure the most of your new Camp David Rose follow these general care guidelines:

  • Sunlight:
Plant your rose in a location that receives at least 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight daily. Roses flourish in full sun, which helps in vigorous growth and abundant flowering.
  • Soil:
A free draining soil is essential to prevent root problems. Enrich the soil with organic matter, such as compost or aged cow manure, to improve its structure and nutrient content.
The pH level should ideally be slightly acidic to neutral, around 6.0 to 6.8.
  • Watering:
Water the rose deeply and regularly, especially during dry periods. Avoid overhead watering to minimize the risk of fungal diseases; instead, water at the base of the plant.
  • Fertilization:
Feed your rose with a balanced rose fertilizer,or a general purpose organic slow release fertiliser..
  • Pest and Disease Control:
Aphids and spider mites, are the main pests.. Use appropriate treatments as needed, including insecticidal soap or neem oil. Black spot or powdery mildew are treated in the normal manner.
