Thunbergia gibsonii – The Golden Glory Creeper
Long flowering and easy to grow Thunbergia gibsonii (syn Thunbergia gregorii) is the ‘The Golden Glory Creeper’ and sometimes the Golden Clock Vine. An old fashioned plant this one is related to ‘Black eyed susans’, however it does have larger flowers that are a bright orange colour.
Although this is a climber it will also work as ground cover plant, flowering over long periods in warm climates this is tough low care plant that requires additional water only during very dry periods. With a little support Thunbergia gibsonii makes a graet climber to cover a fence or similar, reaching around 3m in height.
