Dodonaea Viscosa is the common Hop Bush in cultivation it is manly used as a hardy hedging plants. In its natural habitat it is found widely in the Eastern States of Australia, however also in Western Australia and small populations in the Northern Territory.

Used widely for land reclamation projects in recent years it has been cultivated by wholesale growers as an evergreen hedging plant.

It can reach 4 – 5 m in height and in general individual plants are short lived to around 8 years.
