Eucalyptus dumosa, White Mallee – Landscaping Uses
Eucalyptus dumosa, White Mallee growing to only 6m with many trunks has creamy white flowers during the flowering period.
Although not widely used in landscaping Eucalyptus dumosa does have some potential. It is drought tolerant and low growing so is suited to smaller gardens or as a backdrop to,other native plants.
It could also be used as a small shade tree, providing protection to other plants or a seated area at specific times of the day.
A fairly shallow rooted tree it will need support when planted until its root system is established.
It is a tree that is high in essential oils and this is often extracted for use.
