One of the smaller growing Anemones, Anemone flaccida is a wonderful plant for a woodland garden.
A low growing perennial plant, Anemone flaccida is a very pretty spring flowering rhizome. Light to mid green lobed ferny foliage with white flowers held above make an attractive carpet in spring. In Japan this is called ‘two flower’.
In spring the flowers will rise above the foliage, you could grow these in a container. Oner time they will slowly spread through the garden, they are not invasive and other plants such as Trilliums grow happily along side them.
