Mouse Featherflower
A low growing small spreading shrub, Verticordia fastigiata makes a good ground cover plant for a sunny position.
This is a very attractive Verticordia species that can reach around .5 m in height although often smaller, and will spread to around .5 m.
It grows well in an open sunny position and requires a well drained soil. In the garden plant in a raised area or a rock garden.
Flowering time is from Mid summer through to Autumn depending on climate and conditions.
This is a naturally neat plant, it has dense foliage and requires little care once established. Flower colour varies with red being common, yellow and more orange flowering varieties are also found.
