Bacon has been widely regarded as the best ‘cold climate’ avocado suited to southern states Melbourne Victoria, and Adelaide South Australia. However in many cooler situation Wurtz and Rincon do equally as well.
For commercial growing Avocado trees are spaced at around 10m or at 125 trees per acre depending on variety.
