When we are looking for wholesale trees in large sizes it is wholesalers who carry a rang of containers stock and bag stock that can supply the best range. Although ex ground stock may be available container grown plants offer a number of advantages to the landscaper.

Container stock are basically plants grown in root control bags, or larger pots to an advanced size.

The advantages of container grown plants include.

• This allows ease of transportation and planting, which makes them well suited to larger landscaping applications.
• Availability to plant year round – Bare root plants have a limited window in terms of planting.
• Established root systems that are not disturbed and damaged.

Many nurseries carry a range of conatiner plants ready for immediate dispatch. An alternative to field dug trees where delays may be occured.

Many are grown in air pruned root control bags.
