Care and Planting
Best is in a sunny position and in a humus rich well drained soil, with its smaller growing habit, Buddleja Buzz is a Buddleja Variety that can also be grown in containers.
This is a plant that will also grow in part shade and still flower well so it is a versatile addition to any garden. It is not really suited to deep shade as flowering will decreased and the plant will tend to get leggy over time.
Pruning
The best time to prune is as the flowers fade. You can simply remove some of the older canes at ground level. You can also dead head the plant as the first flowers fade which will tidy up the look and promote a better second flush of flowers.
Garden Uses
Excellent as a background plant in the garden border, or grow it near the front of the border as a visual break.
This is a plant that will attract birds, bees and butterflies to the garden and being long flowering adds interest for a large part of the year.
