Cairns Botanic Gradens

With the Flecker Gardens being the main part of these gardens the surrounding gardens including Century Lakes are also well worth a visit.

The Flecker Gardens hold a large collection of tropical and sub tropical plants, palm trees, cycads, ferns and ornamental flowering plants are all represented.

The conservatory is an interesting addition, providing a glimpse of plants that require truely tropical conditions to survive.
