It is the time to find Lilium bulbs for spring and summer, we list some of the best Lilium Nurseries in Australia
Gardening and Garden Plants from Nurseries Online
Our team has been searching nurseries and finding the best plants for Australian gardens for nearly 15 years. We provide gardeners with a straight forward experience when looking for plants. Our primary aim is help you find the right plant for the right situation. We provide growing notes, care instructions and even pruning details for many plants listed.
Plants are sold in three ways in Australia, The Retail Nursery, many of which are located in major suburbs around the country. Mail order nurseries now referred to as 'online nurseries, and wholesale nurseries, that supply the trade and landscapers.
Our aim is to point you in the right direction, and even help you to find that rare or unusual plant that you just must have, but no nurseries seem to sell them. It's amazing what we can find.
Online or Mail Order
The widest range of plants and sold when dormant in most cases. A great way to buy plants, you can have then in the garden at the beginning of the season. You will also find those difficult to source plants some from rather obscure nurseries just that little easier to obtain.
Retail
When you want plant quickly and want to see them first hand, then a retail nursery or garden centre can be the way to go. Any good garden centre will be able to provide you with advice specific to you area and climate conditions
Wholesale
Supplying the industry and landscapers with plants wholesale nurseries and growers tend to specialize a little. Some Wholesale Nurseries will grow tree and shrubs, others perennials. Some specialize in native plants others in rare and unusual species.

FOUNTAINS, GARDEN SCULPTURE and OTHER OBJECTS IN THE GARDEN.
It is always interesting to read views on 'Garden Art'. A few landscapers promote the notion that Art has little place in the garden. Others push for Sculptures and Fountains to dominate the created landscape. So what is the right approach?
We firmly believe that Fountains and Sculptures do have a place in every garden, its just a matter of finding the right piece for the right garden. I rememb
er visiting a friends garden when my children were small, he is a keen gardener and sculptor, one fantastic feature was a small sundial, the children were fascinated, we talked a little about sundials, they remember this 20 years on. Water has a place in any garden, the tranquil feeling that they add complements the plants around them. Garden Sculpture may be decorative or placed to mark a significant event.
The important things to consider when choosing garden art are:
- placement
- size
- style
- proximity to other objects
