Dais cotinifolia – Wholesale Nurseries

A small evergreen to deciduous tree, Dais cotinifolia is grown as a shade tree covered with masses of pom pom like pink flowers in spring. In warmer climates it is an evergreen tree with a medium to fast growth rate. Semi deciduous and slower growing in cooler climates.

Bark is very fibrous and the tree is fairly resistent to wind damage and limb shear.

Little to no pruning is required, only removal of dead or damaged branches.
