These lists of Best Plants are compiled by contributing nurseries as well as by staff.
From nurseries we have lists of what have been popular hardy garden plants, from our staff we look at some of the ‘all round’ best plants we have seen in recent years.
Without doubt two new evergreen Magnolias were standouts Magnolia ‘Kay Parris’ and Magnolia ‘Teddy Bear’. Could these two rival the popular ‘Little Gem’. We think that Magnolia ‘Teddy Bear’ in particular is a great new form. Both well suited as feature plants or for use as hedging plants.
We know that Gardenia Radicans has been around a while, recently however it seemed to really hit the market, a great low growing Gardenia that does well in cooler climates, well worth a look.
