Gardening Clubs – Gardening Groups and Societies in Australia. Gardening Clubs provide an excellent source of support and knowledge for both the experienced and begriming gardener. Gardening clubs tend to focus on either regional or local garden conditions or on specific areas of gardening.
Clubs may specialise in one particular species or they may look at a wider group of related plants. Rose, Orchid and Bonsai clubs or societies tend to have a specific focus, Alpine and Rock Garden Societies or Clubs concentrate on a range of plants. Gardening Clubs offer a range of activities including gardening classes, educational speakers, garden shows and competitions. Gardeners clubs are about a lot more than growing plants, a great way to meet like minded people and grow your social network, an excellent way to give back to the community through local re vegetation programs as well as an excellent way to learn about gardening, landscape ideas and international gardening events.
In Australia many gardening clubs participate or organise gardening tours and trips both to international events and conferences as well as private gardens that are not generally open to the public.
Some gardening clubs and societies also provide access to seed banks and seed exchanges where members can gain access to seeds from otherwise difficult to obtain species.

Some Clubs are on an Australia Wide or International base, while others are based on specific facets of gardening, whtever your interests you can find a gardeing group to join that will help with you gardening knowledge.
