Aloe are fast becoming a favourite plant with both commercial landscapers and home gardeners. With such versatility in form and color, over 100s of species of aloe are available. Aloes can make a dramatic statement with spectacular foliage and achetectural lines. Aloe prefer full sun and a well drained soil, most aloes do not tolerate frost, so a large pot in a sunny postion will suit for cooler climates. Aloes do not require a lot of water except in the main growing period when soil should be kept moist. In the right conditions aloes have fantastic flowers. |
