Insect Repellant Plants for the garden
Plants that naturally repel insects can be of great benefit in the garden. Insect repellant plants generally work by releasing a scent or fragrance that insects are deterred by. The scent or oils released from the sap are the important elements. Basil and thyme are favourite herbs for repelling flies and mosquitoes, so grow them near the barbecue and use them as culinary herbs at the same time.
