Brilliant long lasting flowers and good deep green foliage make Brachyscome formosa a great garden plant.
And just to add a little extra spice, cultivars such as Brachyscome formosa ‘Ramboreef’ with its deeper pink flowers are now becoming available.
Flowering from spring right through until autumn the species itself has pink flowers with yellow centres. It grows well in full sun to part shade and requires a well drained soil.
You can use it in the garden, or grow it in containers, and this low growing plant is easy care.
It will tolerate light to medium frosts and once established is reasonably drought tolerant as well.
