WHOLESALE ANCHIRHODMYRTUS NURSERIES
Anchirhodmyrtus beckleri is known as the ‘rose myrtle’ small rosy pink flowers on this medium to large evergreen shrub. Glossy dark to mid green leaves on a bushy plant with a slight weeping habit. Depending on conditions Anchirhodmyrtus beckleri can reach between 2 and 5 metres.
Aromatic foliage, attractive flowers and frost resistant on a plant that grows well in part shade to full sun. Best in a humus rich but well drained soil this is a plant that deserves wider consideration as a garden plant.
This is a single species genus with its natural distribution in rainforests from New south Wales to Northern Queensland. It does however grow well as far south as Melbourne where some good specimens are found in the Botanical Gardens.
