SPECIALITY TREES
Position for Qualified Horticulturalist
Speciality Trees is seeking a full-time qualified horticulturalist to join its nursery production
team. The person selected will play a leading role in the growing and maintenance of landscape
trees from tube to semi-mature size.
Candidates must have horticultural qualifications preferably Certificate 4 or higher, and at least
5 years’ experience in horticulture, mostly in tree growing and maintenance. They must be fit
and capable of performing physically demanding tasks.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their knowledge and understanding of plant
growth, plant nutrition, pruning and pest management. He will be willing to learn, show
initiative and enjoy working within a team in an outdoor environment.
Remuneration will depend on qualifications and experience, and will be negotiable. Applicants
