Cussonia

Related to the boabab trees. These hardy Southern African trees form a bulbous trunk and make an attractive tub or bonsai specimen. Grown well they can reach 2 metres. Sold in 75ml pots.
Cussonia Paniculata: Forms a bulbous trunk and will grow to about 2 metres in the garden. Can be kept small in a tub or bowl and makes a very nice tub specimen.

Cussonia Spicata: Known as the “Spiked cabbage tree”. It is a strikingly beautiful evergreen garden tree. Whilst easily cultivated it does not tolerate extreme degrees of frost.

Magnolia

Magnolia 'Heaven Sent': Pink flowered hybrid. The light pink-purple flowers heavily cover the plant in Spring.

Magnolia ‘Royal Crown’: Outstanding large, red-violet flowers held upright. A free flowering vigorous grower. Flower period from early to late spring. Grows to 6x6m.

New Zealand flax (Phormium)
An ideal accent plant that will grow in a wet or dry position. They can be grown successfully in a container.

Surfer Boy: Has fine curly brown variegated foliage growing to only 15cm. Good as a low border.

Thumbelina: A neat little plant only 40-60cm high. The foliage is deep red-bronze with darker edges and rust-red flowers.

Purpureum: Purple New Zealand flax has beautifully coloured reddish-maroon leaves. 120cm
