Tigridia

Members of the Iris family. The
bulbs produce dazzling flowers in early
to mid Summer. Although the flowers are short lived, each 50cm stem
produces a succession of blooms over several weeks. Each bloom can be
up to 13cm (5”) across. The flower center is heavily spotted and
surrounded by three wide pointed petals. Mixed colours: Contains red,

Rhodohypoxis
This
delightful little bulb is a genus from South Africa. It does well
in a peaty acid soil. An excellent rockery plant which grows to about
10cm with grass like foliage. Copious frangipani like flowers from Mid
Spring. Ideal for a small pot or bowl.
