Grafted Grevilleas and Eucalyptus species, including Hybrid SUMMER SERIES (Red,Beauty,Glory and Snow)and Calophylla Hybrids in tubes for the wholesale industry.

At Changers Green we also breed grevilleas with 8 hybrids released to date, being, White Candelabra and Pink Candelabra, Billy Bonkers, Lana Maree, Ivory Whip, Lollypops, Jester and Flamingo.

We are currently undertaking trials of grafted Darwineas, Eremophillas Banksias and Dryandras, WA melaleuca, Eremea and Kunzea.

Established in 1989, with a hobby collection of around 300different Grevilleas, Richard and Lana Tomkin started Changers Green Nursery and began to supply the Wholesale trade with good quality Grafted plants and have refined the collection to accommodate the changing scene of Australian Plants. Recent expansion (4yrs ago) saw the introduction of grafted Eucalypts. Now renamed Corymbia the Ficifolia of old has had quite an upgrade and we produce a number of different colours from pink to vermillion and red to pale orange.

Armed with the appropriate licence we also produce numbers of the very popular SUMMER SERIES Hybrids.

Grafting techniques have advanced quite considerably over the past 10 yrs or so and we use the “Side Saddle' graft whenever possible-this was developed here by Richard and is far superior technically than the older outdated methods.

Plant breeding is still under way with 1 new hybrid due for release in 12-24 months.
