Westringia fruticosa is known as coastal rosemary or native rosemary. Widely used as a hedging plant and useful in a number of landscaping applications where a drought tolerant shrub is required.
Dozens of species and cultivars are available from selected wholealers, many with different growth habits, foliage and flower colours. Generally these are a very hardy plant with attractive foliage and small white to mauve flowers.
They are drought tolerant once established and grow well in full sun.
Popular Westringia species and cultivars include:
- Westringia ‘Wynyabbie Gem’
- Westringia ‘Jervis Gem’
