Medium bittersweet/vintage. (...Found growing out of a
wall next to a water wheel, and soon achieving local
fame for its high yields). Small to medium fruit,
flushed and striped. Producing sweet, slghtly astringent
medium bitter/sweet cider of good aroma and flavour.
High tannin for weight of flavour. Small -
medium fruit. Possibly the 'doyenne' of the cider apples. |
