Duranta are a group of small compact shrubs to trees for tropical to semi tropical areas. Originally from Southern Florida Duranta erecta is known as golden dewdrop, pigeonberry and skyflower.Duranta sheena's gold and Duranta 'geisha girl' are popular cultivars.
Duranta repens and Duranta Erecta along with Duranta 'Alba' are the best known species. Duranta are a versatile plant that will grow from the tropics through to temperate regions. Duranta stenostach and Duranta repens are other species worth seeking

Generally readily available for sale from garden centers in Queensland and Northern New South Wales
