 These devices such as 'CatWatch' emit ultrasonic sounds audible not audible to the human ear. Electronic fences are also available for confining dogs, these work with a device fitted to the collar.

Fencing and Barrier Deterrents

 Fencing works for dogs, for Possums and Cats, netting can work, use shade cloth however as with bird netting the risk of entanglement makes this problematic. Barriers such as floppy wire can be successful.
